Dave Rastovich is a freesurfer and environmentalist who lives in the Northern Rivers region of NSW with partner, Lauren and son, Mino. A Patagonia Global Surf Ambassador, Dave has led campaigns against fish farms and offshore oil and gas expansion, while championing simple living and backyard gardening. Despite eschewing competition, Dave is still considered one of the best surfers in the world, while working on lighter footprint, less toxic surfboards.

Chris is deeply interested in the natural world, traditional Hawaiian culture, and the intersection of both. He recently voyaged 2700 nautical miles from San Diego to Kaneohe Bay on Oahu in a sailing canoe, the story of the voyage is told in his film, A’a.
